Can you transfer parts from one car to another? If so, how to do it.

I've seen several websites that state you can transfer parts from one car to another but none say how to do this. I'm wondering if this is possible and if so, how I go about doing it. Any help would ...

Basicaly, always save at least one part of each category in case you need to swap part to the new cars. But it will cost goldfor high level parts
