Cannot play any event in NFS Rivals, PAGEUP button not working
I recently bought NFS Rivals during the August Sale, but I've been stuck on the training scene for 3 hours. I've restarted the game many times, but the cutscene can't be skipped, which has been really time-consuming. When I drive to the event location, the usual press "PageUp" prompt to start the event doesn't appear, so I can't proceed. Has anyone else encountered this issue or know how to fix it?
Additionally: I'm using PC with full-size keyboard, PageUp button works correctly but in the game, the event does not start

when you have a moment give the following steps a try.
- Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Repair the game files in the EA app. Go to the Library and find your game. Click the Manage icon, then click Repair.
- Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
- Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
