cant navigate the menus

hi guys

i just bought need for speed for pc and for any menus i encounter i cannot move up and down

i can however move side to side

when ever i try to make an upwards or downwards movements it automatically puts my selector back where it was

i have tried with another keyboard and mouse and still no luck

so it is definitely not a stuck key

any help would be apreciated

This*^^ is usually happening if you have some uncalibrated controller contacted to the computer!

If you have any: controllers/gamepads/steering wheels ---> Try to unplug/remove (only temporarily for test) !

hmm, interesting

do you have a x-box controller (may from your friends) you can plug in and try out to navigate with it?

otherwise i'd suggest a clean boot, this will help to find out if a third party software causes this problem http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
