@alonzodargan I feel your pain bro there need to be a patch ASAP bro all the knew games that been coming out has been having so many problems bro it’s getting old bro I love need for speed games and this is better then the last two games bro but I can’t play it I had to get off and on top of that it had deleted two knee cars and all my ultimate+ parts that I grinded for

Community AdminHi guys, can I check if any of you play offline do you encounter the same issue? Do you happen to notice this happening around any networking-related glitches?
- @EA_David Hey David, it was only occurring whenever I joined an online lobby and it didn't matter whether I was racing with other players or by myself while in the online lobby. I tried resetting my router and it did not change anything upon my next playthrough, however, the problem seems to no longer be occurring. So there was no immediate impact when I reset my connection, but eventually the problem seized. It was basically that the game took time to register me running through a checkpoint and by the time it did register, it was often the case that I crossed a second checkpoint already, leading the game to force me into repeating the checkpoint that already driven through.

I believe this issue may be triggered by internet issues (which can be local or on the server side of things). @archangelofjust, you mention this still happening, If you play over wifi can you try using a wired connection and see if anything changes. If this isn't possible for you/you're already wired up, a router power cycle may help.- @EA_David To add on, I am hard-wired myself. It doesn't seem to have happened again.
I just returned the game because of this check point glitch. Played the first beginning race 5 times and kept failing for some reason then noticed check points were not activating as I passed, so I tried a few more times even having to circle around to get check points to only finish last and keep failing the first race with the crappy yellow car. Took the game out and returned it. Paid 50$ for a broken game then game stop rips me off and gave me 32$ for the game I didn't play for more than 20 minutes.

I also had no issues with offline play, but to answer the part about simultaneous glitches, the "Checkpoint Missed" splash often doesn't trigger, and sometimes the pre- and post-race crowds are misplaced, but I believe that's been temporarily addressed in patch 1.4.

I have only encountered this problem whenever I hop onto online, but when I am in solo it’s fine. I already switched from a lan cable to wireless and it still is happening, I turned off my router/modem but still happens, I deleted the game and downloaded it again but it still happens. I restarted my console and it still happens.
