Checkpoint UI in NFS Payback gameplay video

In the last two gameplay videos, UI has been greatly improved. Overall,UI provides more feedback and adds more subtle elements and animations.Except for one thing,that's the sign at checkpoint. ...

    I would imagine that the developers, you know the people who are currently playing the game, probably decided the original just arrows wasn't enough. Maybe they were missing checkpoints and decided it needed the white line too.

But what is single logo or checkpoint of smartphone near of no cockpit, no toyota, Lexus, Ferrari? Nothing.
