Co-op/Multiplayer Free-roam and races

Nfs Payback is solid for a new release in my opinion but I believe they are missing the main ingredient coop races and freeroam. Nothing's better than cruising to the next race with your friend rather than sitting in a boring lobby. Coop races against AI is something I would love to see personally but I understand these things take time.
