Competitive Mode Fail

The new "Competitve" mode is exactly the same as the "All Drive" mode. This is not a multiplayer lobby.
Here's how a multiplayer lobby is SUPPOSED to work:
Players join lobby.
Race course is set and a countdown timer starts.
ALL PLAYERS are in the race.
The race starts.
Rinse.
Repeat.
Try Again Ghost.
