Connection problems between pc and xbox

The other day I was playing NFS heat with my brother. I'm on pc he is on Xbox, everything was working fine. Now I go to play it with him today and every time we get into a party and join online he gets disconnected from session no matter who's host. It was working fine one day and now its not. Any help?
