Constantly falling through the map
Its getting to a point where I literally cannot play and/or enjoy the game as I keep falling through the map at random intervals. Few examples for you, multiplayer racing, winning, fall through the map and have to wait on a blank screen for at least two minutes. Another one was in a drift challenge, drifting and managed to fall through the pavement?
Not sure if im alone here or not but its really annoying. I'll list my PC specs below, I'm running everything on low settings too.
AMD FX 8320 CPU (OC'd to 4.2GHz)
AMD HD 7850 GPU
8GB Kingston RAM
1.5TB Hard Disk
Cant really think of anything else to include.
@TheCptConnor Hey, this is an issue that can manifest in some situations. Please try the following steps, they should help.
- Make sure your gpu drivers are updated via a clean install
- Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements
- Make sure your hard disk is defragmented (do not use this if you are running an SSD)
- Need for Speed is a heavy game: don't run the game with multiple browser tabs open, or multiple heavy programs like iTunes or video capture software such as Nvidia Shadowplay, Fraps, Teamviewer--this is especially important if you are close to the minimum requirements
- If the issue persists then run your system in a clean boot which turns off all background programs for you. This should eliminate the issue and will help you to find out which program on your system is causing the conflict with Need for Speed.
If you have a relatively low-quality HDD this can also be a factor, you can try moving the game to a faster one/an SSD if one is available.
Thanks.
