Controller not accelerating correctly on PC

Xbox one controller - accelerator only works at 50% speed - if w on keyboard is used for accelerate car accelerates normally. controller works in 100% of other games (rocket league, wreckfest, gta v...

further to this -

if you hold accelerator flat chat and reverse flat chat, you increase in speed faster in reverse than accelerator o_O
