Crashes when changing resolution to 3840x2160

This particular resolution works flawlessly in the original game.

Thank you for the post. Do you get an error message when that happens? When you're swapping, are you set to fullscreen or a version of Windowed?

Also, I'm assuming your monitor is 4096x2160, is this the case? If so, do you get any crashes when you swap to any of the other common 16:9 aspect ration resolutions?

straight up crash to desktop.

no error message.

I've only tried one other resolution of 1920x1080 which for some reason the game was choking on with 15-25fps.  graphics settings set to max.  however even at low it wasn't much better.

once it was changed over to proper 4k it worked fine at 59 fps (set to 59).  4096x2160.

this was using a 3080 ftw3 with the newest nvidia drivers as of yesterday
