i had access to this on the Trial Version of the game but now that i have the full version i have and unreal amount of problems.

Not the verbiage I would have chosen, but the same concern still exists. Button mapping is a must, even if you limited it to just racewheel controllers, or allowed the button remapping feature under accessibility to be leveraged. Nothing like your fingers getting ripped off by the force feedback when trying to reach across the wheel to press the handbrake, or hitting pause when trying to use the nos.
