Custom controller mapping on the CONSOLE version

Um, why are you mentioning the crew 2, did you mean payback? anyway i agree there should be custom mapping on consoles

This is a major thing for me as well. I may not buy this game if it won't have custom key mappings - I played NFS 2015 and all 5 presets were horrible.

Please give us custom key mappings!! What's the big deal ??

I was extremely worried this would be an issue. While I'm allowed to customize keyboard controls, NFS Payback only offers 2 preset GAMEPAD bindings and I am not fond of either of them. All I want to do is shift up using B and shift down using X on an Xbox One controller. Is there any possible way I could map this myself? If not, I'll be requesting a refund ASAP as it's entirely unplayable.

@FoolishPotatWelp, just downloaded the game and not only do we not have a custom binding option, there are now only TWO presets. Both of which are horrible. Will be getting a refund as I'm honestly so disappointed. Looked like an enjoyable game too.

try using Joytokey 

You can change the key mappings via the xbox one console itself but it will affect all games.

We really need the ability to customize the controller to our needs. I don't have full use of my hands and the default control layouts (both of them) are horrible for my needs.
