Custom music

I know that it's possible to do this in other NFS games (Rivals, Most Wanted 2012), but I'm not sure if it's possible here. Basically, you put songs on a flash drive, plug it into the system, make a playlist with a name, and have the game queue in songs from that playlist instead of the in-game soundtrack. I did it with Rivals and MW, but my PS3 is a little stubborn. I have a PS4 now and would like to do the same thing. I read something that a folder needs to be called Racing in order for the game to pick it up, but I haven't tried it yet. I also think I might need to download the Media Player for PS4. Any ideas?
