Customisable Controllers - NFS Heat
Good Afternoon, My question /request is an easy one. Will this NFS Heat release allow you to customize your controller to suit the users preference? If not would you please please add this feature....

Good to know other feel the same as i do.
Great looking game but because of the terrible control layout - i'm not motivated to play it despite the long wait to get it.
EA is definitely losing sales over this as i've witness friends cancel pre-orders or refrained from puchasing this game solely based on the control aspect
My biggest gripe is the binding of the [PS4] bumper buttons to change up/down gears while trying to still accelerate and brake using the triggers.
Slightly less annoying is the powersliding engagement but double-tapping the accelerator. I find this frustrating as some times i simply need to release the accelerator to negotiate a corner, and not initiate a drift/powerslide. Wish there was another way to perform this function i.e. tapping the e-brake/handbrake button was never a problem.
At the very least please allow custom controls.

This is very annoying, the setup of the changing gears buttons feels like the people that made this game, haven't even played it themselves to realise how ridiculous this is!
Also the drift mechanic on accelerator is rubbish, it's like they are forcing you to drift every corner, very frustrating!
I fell totally ripped of because thie is a driving game, but it hos no wheel support...seriously messed up...I hate using auto transmissions as it is and hate controllers, but I tried to deal with it, only to find the no mapping either...NFS is dead if they do not fix this. I have not played in over a week now, and feel like this is a waste of money.
I also refunded this game, first time I have ever done it, and within 2 hours of buying the game, I can not believe a 60E racing game in 2019 does not have good controller support. Especially seeing that earlier they did say this would be possible. I contacted live support as well and they basically said it could happen in a future patch but no guarantee could be given. Worst part is that the game (on pc at least) even overwrites third party changes. If I remap handbrake from X to A, both X and A will handbrake AND perform their other function. On top of that, a deadzone option would be really nice as well so slightly worn out controllers don't force permanent gas/braking/steering. Even nfs games in 2005 had the option to remap buttons, wtf is stopping them now???
