Mac mentions wanting to get back his dad's '65 Mustang, so I picked a class he would drive. The VW is a classic dune-buggy base. Of the remaining 3, the Fairlady seemed most appropriate for race. The Chevy's were a toss-up. I thought the Bel Air looked more like you could beef it up to knock cop cars off the road. The C10 has an empty, wood-floored bed and overall doesn't look quite as tough. I like it as a drag truck.
Now that I've gotten into the drag portion of the game a bit more, I have discovered the C10 is really awful at drag races. The gearing is very short in the first couple of gears, making it nearly impossible to time your shifts. Then the gears get very tall, so much so that it's hard to actually rev high enough to get a good shift (let alone perfect). I might make an offroad C10.
