let me rephrase that its sad when microsoft support is better than EA's
I can connect to an advisor but get no response from said advisor aside from how can I help you. This is pretty sad. If you are going to have live chat support it needs to actually be LIVE!
This is getting stupid now... acording to EA they "Havent heard from Ghost" well.... they OWN ghost so why cant they tell them get get off their lazy ass`s and get the hell back to work?

Yup, I also contacted them and there was no word at all from the devs... or news. You can't blame the poor guys working at the support, blame Ghost for choosing not to communicate at all with their customers, or even care to fix the game. More than six weeks since last patch and it's been dead silent from them all along.
Way to make yourselves a name, new studio releases a game. Broken beyond belief across all platforms and does not care about customer relationships at all. GENIUS (insert meme here!

Hate to be negative, but I'm afraid that's exactly what we're going to see happen to NFSR. They'll release a patch within the next several weeks that will attempt to fix a couple of game-breaking bugs, say they've optimized the code without actually having done much at all, and call it quits. At which point we'll never hear from them again. Ever.
Here's hoping I'm completely wrong about this...
Its looking more and more like this has become abandonware. Its obvious to everyone that this was thrown out the door to catch the release of the next gen consoles so pretty much released as an early beta. It wasnt ready for release and they dont seem to be patching the numerous problems... progress loss, falling through the scenery when you miss a jump, turbo not working, server migration....
I can only assume that the reason EA and Ghost are not giving any useful information about patches and steering wheel support is because the game is dead to them. Its been out now for months, interest has been lost. If they just came out and told everyone that this is as finished as it will ever be then word would spread and nobody would buy it.
If theres no patch soon im probably gonna cut my losses and trade it in.
I hate to disagree, but this EA's baby all the way. I contacted GHOST and they did reply. They said they were not aloud to give out any information. EA also laid off pretty much must of the GHOST team in England that was responsible for this mess. EA would be the one pushing GHOST to release a game that was barely in Beta form. I'm pretty sure the game's release date was tied in with the PS4's release date. And to answer the question of EA caring about us: EA doesn't give a rats a$$. They've got your money. See ya.............
so... once again, no updates on this "phantom" patch and/or dlc... Good to see business as usual for EA then!
EA cares about our money, NOT its loyal fans or customers! All their focus right now is on the NFS movie. They want some of that Fast and Furious money. Hasn't anyone else notices the subtle "movie" advertising in the game? If I was a board member of Ford, I would pull out now before it pisses off any more loyal ford buyers! Fast and Furious came out with a fanbase of import tuners already in place and dying for a decent movie for them. It didn't and hasn't disappointed yet. Need for Speed is going to come out with a fanbase pissed off because of this game and nobody will want to watch it. I for one am so disgusted with EA that I wont go see it, and if they are lucky, I might watch it after someone buys it, that way NONE of my money will go to supporting it. If EA wont support us and all our loyalty over the years, Then screw them! The NFS games have always been my favorite games since the original Playstation.
So, Electronic Arts, how long are you going to be a company with no fanbase or loyal customers to buy your games? Blaming it all on Ghost is like Obama blaming the healthcare websites problems on its designers. If it wasn't ready, then postpone a few months. Besides it would give Sony a few months to work out the bugs in the PS4! I blame ALL this on the EA executives, just as Affordable healthcare was screwed up by last minuet changes by politicians!
