Before I buy this game, I want to know if the logitech G27 racing wheel works with Need for Speed most wanted. I also was wondering what level of functionality does it support? Does it support full 900 degrees? does it support full force feedback? does it support the clutch and gearshift?
Simply put, the game is made for controllers. And in my opinion it translates the analog controls to Xbox Controller buttons.
IT IS BAD !
Do not buy this game if you plan to play it with a steering wheel like I always do with NFS games.
Hot Pursuite was plain fun. This game however is a nightmare to play with a steering wheel.
You can't adjust a thing because of the remapping to the xbox analog controls ( I'm not 100% sure they do it that way but it sure feels that way ). In my opinion they didn't write any code for a real steering wheel.
So you can't adjust the amount of Force Feedback, if it's reversed or not. You can't select cluth, hell I even didn't find any option for manual gears.
And 900° steering ... the only way you can force that is by seting it manually in the drivers. But the steering will be linear and that's not correct at all.
Short story long ... Stay away from this game if you want to play it with a steering wheel.
I have no faith at all that they will fix this issue.
