Drag too hard

On drag i am well over the opponents level, i do every shift perfect but it is still much faster than me. I am on medium difficulty and  even tried i on easy but i stll cant beat it. Is this a glitch or is it just in the game like this?

    all drag oppenents were easy squeezy and i have beaten them in first or second try.

    but maybe because i found the mustang 1965 wrack and tuned it long before the last drag oppenents ^^

    i do know from youtube videos that there are a lot of ppl which have issues like you.

    all you need is a good car and high level.

    at start, use nos, let go, shift perfect to second gear, use nos again, let go and shift perfect to third gear, use nitro again and shift to 4rd gear, nitro again, 5th gear etc

    you can also tweak the cars performance by changing from acceliration or top speed and with NoS you can change power or duration, i got my setting on top speed and duration so u can use NoS from start to finish, easy beat then 🙂

    Btw i have a Camaro i will tune it to 200 if it doesnt work then i will find the Mustang derilict.

    I felt the same way with beginning drag races. I had the 69 Camaro (or 67, I cant remember) and it simply wasnt as good as it could be. I ended up getting the Dodge Viper and it performed much better. For my game, at least, the "Rev Your Engine" UI doesnt pop up after the first run, so I have to guess and risk a slow start. But once I get perfect shifts, I use my nitrous to catch up and pass the other racer, who, for some reason, gets perfect starts and shifts 100% on medium difficulty.
