I will agree that the drifting is similar to Underground 2 drift.
However the mechanical ability is night and day difference between the two games.
Underground 2 had it all correctly constructed.
NFS Heat is very unforgivable in performance in drift regardless of set up this far for many players.
Now as I stated in other posts.
I am going to keep trying to get my settings and adjustment worked out in time.
I'll be back with my theory's and let the community know what I discovered.
Have a great day. ☑️😁
Not trying to say you're wrong but have you ever tried drifting on a game like Forza? I feel that when comparing the drifting from Forza to NFS, forza has it comepletely sorted.
NFS on the other hand, makes drifting feel like more of a fast handbrake turn (in Payback and NFS 2015 especially). Personally, I think that drifting is getting better, it's no where near perfect, but it's getting better.

Yes I did and still do.
I've been playing Forza Motorsport 2 and I was drifting with cars, trying to get the right setup while the game was not made for drifting.
I own FM6, FM7, FH4 (completed all the drift challenge and Im only playing with the ABS).
The thing is, Forza Motorsport is made by a studio who own the franchise for 15 years. They only did racing games and only Forza. I can them credit for the mastering the drift thing.
Ghost Games made 4 games. The main difference is that Turn 10 is a sub-studio from Microsoft and Ghost Games is a former studio from EA. Big difference.

Hey, Brother, I would just like to add one comment to your nice post.
Forza VS NFS are two worlds apart in many ways.
Drifting in this conversation would be Forza is light years ahead in drift functionality and form than NFS in my opinion!
Have a great day.
