EA Account (Nintendo Switch version)

Is it possible to import friends from Origin/EA Desktop? As a matter of fact, is it possible to login to your own EA account in the Nintendo Switch version? Ot seems to link to the myNintendo account...

With several titles already out on the system (Burnout Paradise/Need for Speed, and soon Apex), I find it odd that I could not import friends from the Nintendo account, and likewise, I can't seem to link my Nintendo EA game profile to my Origin/EA Account. I find this quite odd.
