EA app instantly crashing
So, I've been trying to play NFS Heat for the last 2 weeks but have run into the same issue with the EA app ever since, the game was on my hard drive then i moved it to my SSD and ever since that mom...
Hey @madzo26,
I'm sorry to hear you're unable to play NFS Heat since you moved the installation folder. As you mentioned, the EA app has not been working properly since you made these changes. Perhaps a clean install will help with that. There's a program called Ccleaner that helps remove all cached, temp, and registry files.
To delete them, you can try using CCleaner to clear out issues and errors.
For instructions on how to use Ccleaner to uninstall apps, click here.
While we suggest using CCleaner, EA does not provide user support for this program–use it at your own risk. Please follow any installation guides straight from CCleaner when installing and performing program set-up. You can find help on CCleaner’s support page.
After that, try reinstalling the EA app and the game. Let us know how that goes,
i think the problem is not the cache files, nor the graphics drivers, not to mention reinstalling does not help. maybe the app is bugged itself. i have contacted ea support and they said that this was a bug on their end too.
I think it's crashing because of win update, or it could be some backend issue that we still don't have a fix for, we gotta wait ig haha.
Hey, I'm sorry to hear that didn't fix the problem and caused a new error. The new error can be fixed by following the steps in this article: How to troubleshoot common EA app error codes
Please check if that helps and if you can install and access the EA app again,
hi, @EA_cuervo im having the first problem mentioned, which is the app crashing instantly after opening. i have tried methods on the link you gave and it didnt work. here's a screenshot of the crashing if that helps.
