I actually found a way to use easydrive through keyboard and accept challenges and change cars. You said that you found the menu by clicking numpad 6, and you can navigate using numpad 2 and 8 but can't accept any challenges no matter what key you press. Well, just open up easydrive menu by pressing numpad 6, navigate using numpad 2 and 8, and if you want to change a car or accept any challenge, press the "Ctrl" key and then pess the numpad 6.
Boom, now you can do whatever you want. Hope this helps... :D
