Engine swap

Hello all,

I am having a great time playing Heat. However, I was hoping someone could explain engine swaps to me. I would hate to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and it then out to be a waste. For example, I am using the Pagani. Right now it has a 919 hp 6.0 V12 in it. For 518,500 I can get the 820 hp 7.0 V12. That's a loss of almost 100 hp among other attributes. My current engine has all elite and elite+. The 7.0 shows 4x elite+, stock supercharger and sport nitrous. Is that what comes with it? If I upgrade the 7.0 will it be better? I'm just trying to better understand and validate spending money on engine swaps.

Thanks for any help!

  • @Szantarious I haven't done it on the Huayra, but yes, it should. I would check the potential hp first though. The Aventador seriously only gets a boost of one or two hp and I don't know if it'll affect the cap on top speed, 0-60, or torque.

Engine swaps are going to be less effective on supercars as compared to the tuners and muscle cars, so I would be a little weary.

If you get the itch to try it, you can always sell it if you don't like it by swapping back to the original engine and going under the inventory tab. You'll probably only get around half of what you paid though.

In the end I'm certain it will be faster, but the question is how much and will it be worth the investment.

Edit: And yes, those are the parts the engine will come with. Adding a twin turbo will definitely help make up that 100hp loss

  • @Szantarious Hi! Look for potential hp, it should be under current hp stats.
If 7.0 has more potential hp than 6.0, then go for it.
And if, take all elite parts off from 6.0, they will be stored in your parts inventory, you don´t have to buy them again

@XxLadyHornxX Thank you for the reply! That's what I was looking for. I figured on the supercars it wouldnt be as worth it as for lesser cars.
