error trying to find the directory for the game config file NFSHP

Hello,

I have bought NFS Hot Pursuit REMASTERED today, and I've been getting this "Error trying to find the Directory for the game config file" error, and I have tried to fix this issue for the past 30 minutes, I disabled Controlled folder access under Virus and Threat protection, and it didn't work, I tried to run it as an administrator and it didn't work. Please help me find a fix for this error,because I just don't know what can work.

    Well, guys, i really don't confident about this solution for all, but for me it's worked.

    The problem was in a directory for config file. The right directory for this file must be appear like this:
    C:\Users\User_Name\OneDrive\Documents\Criterion Games\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit Remastered

    But i have a same directory except one thing:
    C:\Users\User_Name\OneDrive\Документы\Criterion Games\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit Remastered

    I started to guess that the problem was in the name, because the error pointed to the wrong directory name (?????????):
    "Error trying to find the Directory for the Game Config File:
    C:\Users\User_Name\OneDrive\?????????\Criterion Games\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit Remastered

    First I changed the language in the windows, but this directory still names "Документы".


    To fix this, I had to open the browser OneDrive and rename the name of this folder there.
    After that it all works, even the my old save game works!

    So, the solution:
    1. Open One Drive folder
    2. Click RBM on Documents folder and choose:
    OneDrive - View online
    3. Rename folder "Документы" (or what will be in your case) in "Documents"
    4. Refresh folder
    5. Start the game

    Note that OneDrive must be at least connected, because as it turned out,
    these directories work correctly only when it is connected.

    @boluselim  Can you try temporarily disabling OneDrive and see if that lets the config files to a different default location?

    I've got this problem too but I tried to do what all you said. Still dint work for me.
