I was the second one to beat Marcus King. the4thviewer was the first one to beat Marcus King. I managed to beat Marcus King five days after the4thviewer. lol
Incoming bragging:
I took out Marcus King three times when I raced him.
The first screenshot was a Rush Hour race against him and two AIs.
The second screenshot was a Hunter race against him.
The third screenshot was a final Rush Hour race against him.

There's got to be a story behind those 3 DNF's.

Sure there is, he really likes taking out opponents, practices even during tournament races 😃
Smashing your opponent is satisfying, that is for sure, but for me it is too risky - if you don't succeed, most likely he will run off without any chance to catch him... but at least ramming them against the wall to slow them down is often an easiest way to win.

@TheRealJony what is the PR requirement for the very last race? Can you finish it with Mercedes AMG-GT or should I go for McLaren 650s?

@7ru3blu3 - AMG (or any other sports car) is not enough to even reach chapter 19, I got stuck with fully upgraded GTR in the hunter race in CH18 and had to wait to 910+.
First car capable of reaching and beating Marcus King is F458, but then again, McLaren seems a better choice, as it can have higher total PR and is much easier to grind BPs (easy race and a very short one, compared to long blockade with F458).
SpoilerAnd the requirement is 920.- TheRealJony10 years agoHero+
@ruf997tt HeretikJirka had said it all. 😉
I take out my opponents in races for these three things:
1. Rewards $500 for each takedown
2. Fun
3. To troll
It can give you something to do during a race if you feel bored of the repetitive grinding in game. 😛
@HeretikJirka It isn't too risky if you know how to ram and know the good hit spots during a race. 😉
Sometimes, I even send my opponents flying into the air by my ramming. Particularly Sofie and the AIs that drive Ferrari 458 Italias. 😛
Besides, more risk = more rewards and more risk = more fun
Even if it's risky, you would at least have some fun attempting to take out your opponents for $500.
No Limits is a game and we can do all sorts of things that we can't even attempt to do in real life. One of the things is ramming your opponents to a pulp. XD
Here's an example about risk.
If there's a shortcut and a long cut in a race, which one would you pick? Obviously you would pick the short cut. Now, let's say the shortcut has a very high tendency to crash if attempting to take it while the long cut has no tendency to crash. However, successfully going through the shortcut would be a win as it shaves off precious seconds that determines the race. What would you choose then?
I would choose to go through the deadly shortcut as I want to win races at all costs, even if it could cause me to drop from 2nd to 4th.
@7ru3blu3 Well, I'm late as I had real life stuff to do yesterday.
Click on the Spoilers to find out the PR requirement. 😛
SpoilerTo take on Marcus King, you'll need a car with 920 PR.
Only six cars can reach 920 PR to take on Marcus King.
1. Ferrari 458 Italia
2. McLaren 650S
3. Lamborghini Aventador
4. Pagani Huayra
5. Koenigsegg CCX
6. Lamborghini Huracan
Mercedes-Benz AMG-GT is unable to reach 920 PR. You should go with McLaren 650S to take on Marcus King like I did.

Unfortunately, I am stuck on chapter 18 with a LaFerrari at 4 stars and 861 PR, so I can't even finish that chapter. Hopefully soon I can level that car up with the upcoming event so I can progress further. I am 23 blueprints away from my McLaren being 7 stars, and mostly purple parts on that car.
I started playing a week too late and didn't get the GT500. It sucks that since I've been playing they have had the M4 Razor TWICE and yet the GT500 NEVER. Really bad when you have an entire series devoted just to that car (unlike the M4, which you get a standard one during the course of playing the game).

@HeretikJirka It's actually pretty simple to take out opponents and cops in No Limits. Just constantly boost-nudge them and sideswipe them. If you can push them to traffic, that's even better. After a couple of boost-nudges and sideswipes, they'll be K.O.ed.
The more speed you have, the more damage your opponents will take if you boost-nudge them (if your opponents are accelerating slowly like in beginning and middle chapters).
Try taking out opponents in the beginning chapters in Underground (while farming for materials) as your opponents will be too slow to get away from you. Afterwards, try to take out opponents in the middle chapters in Underground (while farming for materials). Your opponents will still be too slow to get away from you. Then if you think you are up for it, try to take out opponents in the ending chapters in Underground (while farming for materials). You may lose quite an amount of gas if attempting to take out opponents in the ending chapters, but it will be a cinch if you know how to ram and know the good hit spots like me. 😉
I had wasted a lot of gas and missed out potential rewards for attempting to take out opponents, but I had fun trying to take them out though.
I can't do the regular ramming anymore. Since I ram too much in races, my ramming evolved from ramming to slow opponents down to ramming to send opponents flying. XD
Although I can only send opponents flying on the good hit spots. I can't send opponents flying if it's a bad hit spot.
Alright, I'll give another example.
Let's say you're racing against one opponent. It's almost near the end of the race. There is a shortcut and a long cut to take near the end of the finish line. The same shortcut and long cut from previous example applies here, except now the shortcut has no traffic and the long cut has traffic. Your opponent takes the long cut.
If you take the shortcut, you have a high chance of crashing but it would secure the win if you successfully go through the shortcut.
If you take the longcut, you have a low chance of crashing but you and your opponent could have the possibility of crashing onto traffic. Either you or your opponent hits traffic. It all depends on luck.
What would you choose?
I would choose the shortcut in a heartbeat.
@jimmywdavis09 There could be a Snoop Dogg encore special event in the future. 😉
That's the special event to get Ford Shelby GT500 Snoop Dogg Edition.
