Follow the law mission not working

Ive just gotten to the ‘follow the law’ mission and i keep failing for absolutely no reason. I tried stopping at the yellow caution light where ana says to stop here. I do and once the cop tosses the keys (idfk how ana eyes are that good to see that bs lmao) the screen goes to failed mission. I watched a few youtube vids on it and the cop just pulls off and the mission continues. I totally need so help. I hate not finishing missions so this gets my ocd going lol. Please comment back on if this is a me issue or a game/ea issue. Ive also seen a few gamers complain about the same issue too.

    2 and a half years later EA hasn't fixed it, hasn't replied, and none of the solutions on this thread have worked.

    I want to say that I finally succeeded, thanks to the advice read in this forum, first I placed myself in the space that they recommended in an image (see the first answer), but it is also important to turn off the engine (you can google how to do it) . That's how I got the game going.

    Advice to continue with the mission: in the next part we must also park and turn off the engine. But it must be between two cars that are in one of the parking lots on the right.
