FPS drops on GTX 970

Running the game on maximum settings @ 1080p. The game runs smoothly, except when doing burnouts, it result in FPS drop because of the smoke

Even if I lowered all Graphics settings to lowest possible, it still drop to ~40 FPS.

Other than that, I have no problems.

System: Windows 10 Pro x64 - i7 4770K - GTX 970 - 32GB RAM

  • I think I have fixed it. Here's what I did; 'Defrag and Prioritize Files' using Smart Defrag, and then Repair Game files from Origin. Also reduced Shadow settings one bit, and since then it doesn't drop below 60FPS. Hope this can help you.
