Frame Rate Drops in NFS Most Wanted PC

I'm wondering if this is normal... my frame rate drops to the low 20s sometimes evecn 15 in certain scenes but usually stays around 25-35 and in some areas goes up to 60fps

Running an i5 with a 7950 and I too get many fps drops. Had to switch on the 30 fps cap to avoid all the stuttering.
