(Big Stretch) How about doing something a bit different, and adding Lowriders, it's the only “car class” that has never really been in NFS and you can win money by doing stuff like impressing crowds of people with Hydraulics. (Might not be the best fit for payback, but at least you can save that idea for the next game.)
I agree with your list and would love to see these implemented but unfortunately each of these I singled out are something that will never be added to Payback. They could be there for future installments but EA will never pay Ghost to put the hours in to crunch a autosculpt feature, a new car class, customization class or a new character to a game that is already not only launched but also heavily criticized. Others in the list are something more easier(cheaper) to implement and I truly wish to see them in this game.
When it comes to the future, well unfortunately I think EA will pull the plug on Ghost, like it has done many times previously on studios that have not made them enough money. DICE is such a cash cow with Battlefield that the entire Battlefront 2 fiasco can be forgiven but Ghost only has the NFS franchise to offer, and with Payback it's reputation has taken a major hit, even though every criticized feature is 110% commissioned and ordered by EA. I would love to see Ghost get free hands to create the next installment as they see fit, but more probably somewhere around Q2-Q3 2018 EA will announce it's closure and it will be another 4 years before the next installment from the next studio is announced. I would love to be wrong about this.

yes! need to be able to play as a cop and drive high performance cop cars! Just like on NFS Hot Purrsuit 2010! That game had GREAT online play with multiple types of game modes. Interceptor and Hot Pursuit modes were absolute blasts to play online. Bring those back along with the car classes to ensure a more even playing field!!

even with the extremely short SP, no online freeroam good lord what year is it again?, and * poor idea to have speed cards to upgrade your car that you have to wait for a shop to cycle or grind events lmao, the above three missing affect my gameplay more
