Our official list does state that the G25 should be supported. I just went into the game and cannot find it while scrolling through the controller list. I will chase this up for you to see what happened.
I have a mouse which has a joystick axis assigned to it, means it's recognised as a game controller and was pulling priority over the wheel for some reason. method in link disables this behaviour.

DICE TeamIt does turn out that the G25 actually shouldn't be on our supported list and that it was added there by mistake. I want to therefore thank you for bringing this to our attention. The current correct list can be found on the Need for Speed website:

The list in our main wheel thread on this board has been updated, and I have forwarded a request to have our EA Help article updated as well. I do want to apologize for this mistake.
