I'm having the same issue
All the buttons report a different one when remapped, but it works, it's the peddals that don't make any sense switching around the brake, accelerator and clutch.
Already tried everything in the official troubleshooting guide that everyone reffers to, and still nothing.
FWIW my g920 works perfectly in many other games (Project CARS 1 & 2, Asseto Corsa, RACE 07, BeamNG.Drive, Forza 7, Horizon 3 & 4, Dirt Rally 1 & 2, GTR 2, etc)
I had the same problem but what I did I just mapped it out legit just swap it “brake” is throttle “throttle” is gas
