Game does not respond to player input after disconnecting.

Summarize your bug The game does not respond to any controller input, however the console itself seems normal. This happens both ingame and in the main menu.
What car were you using? Nissan 240zg.
Was the car your own build or downloaded from the in-game community? Personal Build
What was the last event you played? I do not remember, but it was one of the high heat events.
Was it a day or a night event? Night Event
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? From my experience, it happens in the title screen just on its own or in the game. To get it to happen during the game you have to disconnect the controller (when it happened my battery died, so that might have something to do with it).
What happens when the bug occurs? The normal message appears when you disconnect the controller, but when you attempt to reconnect the controller nothing happens. When it happens in the title screen, you are unable to play the game.
What do you expect to see? I expect for this to be fixed, I really want to play this game again.
The problem persisted after reinstalling and restarting the console.
