Game will not playback "Most Wanted" intro animations

My rig will run NFSMW with ease with Windows 7 64 bit,  an i7 3770 cpu, 8 gigs DDR3 and a 1GB Radeon HD7770 GFX card, all settings on high.  My problem is the intro segments into the 10 "Most Wanted"...

Cold nasty day so trying to play a little NSFMW.  Extremely frustrating to have an expensive game that's crippled due to locking up nine times out of ten when  i try to launch a Most Wanted race.

The game runs great...when it runs.

If i only get to play half the game then where do I send my request to get half my money back?
