GAME WILL NOT SAVE!!!

The other day i reached level 12. When i was done playing and went to go back to my game the next day, it reverted me back to level 6. Yesterday i played from level 6 all the way to 16. I turn my system on again today and im back to level 8. WTF is going on?! There is no save function in this game and you have to hope the autosave works. I tried switching career modes and entering many hideouts, etc. hoping that that autosave kicks in and apparently it doesn't. Is anyone having this problem? I have lost hours of gameplay. I also have other problems with NHL 15 (my only other EA game). Is it a coincidence these EA games screw up constantly or am i missing something here? PLEASE HELP!

    I had this issue when I first started playing, and it crops up now and again if I exit the game throgh any means other to going into a hideout and tabbing all the way to the right, then going all the way down to  'Exit to Windows' or 'Exit to Desktop'.

    Not sure that the information helps, but I just wanted to acknowledge that I have had this issue in the past.
