Ghost Games has probably gotten lazy

This is why EA fired out Ghost Games, because NFS Heat was supposed to be great, but turned out again into frustration. I understand how Ghothenburg planned everything for the game, but the problem is that it kept getting bugs, like the Z-tune R34 Skyline bumper with no turn signal lights, account reset, and etc.

Ghost Games were probably lazy in some cases like not adding the Ford Explorer as a drivable car and as a cop chase vehicle, and instead used it as an unmarkable police car in the cutscenes, which they've already licensed that vehicle and they still didn't even add it as a playable vehicle and cop chase car in the game. Why even??

There's also other problems in this game. The Supra, nobody cares about that for now, as Toyota already explained why their cars are not in Heat. But what i'm saying is that there are things that Ghost Games were lazy to add, just like the Ford Explorer i've just mentioned earlier. This is probably the same thing with the Ford Crown Vic and Dodge Charger SRT, they've added it as cop chase vehicles, but not as playable vehicles like the one in Payback (The Ford Crown Vic is the only playable police car in Payback). They've licensed those cars too, but still did not added it as playable cars.

Now, there are more same problems about this. They've already added that content in the game and they were lazy to add them as a playable content, and that's what I actaully mean about Ghothenburg being lazy to add these things as a playable content when it already added these things.

Just like the police light bar too. Okay, from decal editor, they've already added the police stickers there, but it would be better enough if they've added police light bars in the vehicle customization. Okay, police light bars won't fit to some vehicles, but I could recommend these cars to have one; Corvette Grand Sport, Nissan Skyline R34 and R32, Ford Crown Vic, Dodge Charger SRT, and Ford Explorer (if they've added these three police cars from the ones i've highlighted red), Honda Civic type R 2001 and 2015, all Lamborghini cars, McLaren P1 and F1, etc. Why not just add these things so we online players can roleplay with eachother as cops, just like in Forza Horizon.

I mean, it's already there in the game, but they're too lazy to add them in the customization. Even the blower for the Camaro SS, it was there from Papi's Camaro SS, but it wasn't part of the customization from the playable Camaro SS. These were the things that Ghost Games were lazy to add, but yeah, we can't bring them back anymore since there are no more updates today.

Well, have fun racing and stay safe, and also, don't forget to wear a mask  in the game to avoid COVID, jk.

I will cut to the chase on Ghost Studios failure was a business failure in sales & that's the bottom line why

any game studio fails in this industry!

It all comes down to making money by consumer sales!

Something the sale numbers prove was weak on the NFS Ghost Titles!

The fact that Ghost made half-completed NFS games along with other titles really

leaves no surprise as to why they failed & EA had to shut it all down on Ghost Studios.

Plus the fact EA wanted to play musical chairs with positions from Gothenburg, Sweden

to Criterion, located in Guildford, England.

Ghost Studios started on the wrong foot & ended like a bad train wreck as a Game Studio!

Here is an older story of the switch up back in February 2020!

It's well worth the full read!

  • The comments above soo annoyed the heck out of me that I had to share my thoughts to the above comments from 4 years+ ago. NFSH is one of the top 3 games in the entire NFS franchise in my opinion. And I've played them all. Logged in well over 300+ hours in Need for Speed Heat and got to a point at about 100+ hours in as to why the game didn't get the continued support it deserved. The only best answer tracked to another former regular player of said game here: https://youtu.be/X2Ranx2Q7ZE?si=AODuRtTOakrrxGRA

The game was and still is solid. As EA would have it, greed trumps a great product that they (EA) would've made a killing off of if they were not as greedy as they always are. This comes from a long line of dead and gone studios, successful or not, in which a long history of evidence and precedence from EA proves that they don't know what to do with a great game and studio.

Good on you Ghost Studios for making such a great game and its unfortunate we may never see a proper sequel to one of the best made in the NFS franchise.
