On the settings menu, HDR is either on Auto or Off...if on Auto, in fullscreen mode, the colors are purple, green, blues, etc.... terrible....if switched off, it's normal non HDR. Had anyone else experienced this? Yes my windows 10 is set to HDR gaming and Nvidia to 4:2:2 10 bit

@EA_Barry why should we be disabling anything because you cant make your games the way you should?!?!!?!

I'm having issues with it as well. During the day sometimes ABSL goes crazy on my LG C8 and the brightness is all over the place. I also get some artifacting (white flickering spots at the top of the screen) during darker scenes or in the menu. When I launch the game and the GeForce Experience pop-up shows up it looks really weird and if I try to press Alt+Z to open the overlay the screen simply goes dark. If I go borderless the screen goes dark again.I've tried with about 5 different HDMI cables and nothing changed. I wiped my drivers with DDU and installed the latest ones released today by Nvidia, no luck. I've even installed ME: Andromeda to check if maybe it's my TV that's acting up but no, Dolby Vision works just fine on that one (bear in mind it's the same engine), so I don't really know what's up with the implementation in Heat, but it really makes me not want to play it as much as I would otherwise.

This is on LG 49' Nanocell TV 4k (Dolby Vision)*Got it to work in full screen mode in HDR but will get black screen after exiting the game. Turning off HDR in settings will let you run the game window mode or full screen mode no more black screen of death.* First you will need to Right Click on you're desktop.(https://imgur.com/t4p2C60)- Display settings- Play HDR games and apps (ON)(https://imgur.com/3iMkO7u)- Advanced scaling settings- Let Windows try to fix apps so they're not blurry. (OFF)(https://imgur.com/3iMkO7u) This part you will need for follow to the TPull open a folder or another WINDOW could be anything (This will prevent the game for full screening or going into Dolby Vision mode.) Launch the game and CLICK and HOLD the window or folder that you have open. You will see Need for speed launch in you're left corner of your screen. When your still holding the window you will see the intro screen to need for speed. Now you can click on the game. You should beable to see now without a black screen. (ALT + Enter) if you can't see. Wouldn't let me see in window mode but in full screen it did. I dont how what you're settings are but ALT+Enter will let you see again.- After all that go into settings and turn off HDR!(https://imgur.com/mNSHGHn) Now you should be all set. Until they fix the HDR you'll have to keep it off. HDR is broken lol, I can't get it to work with it no matter what I've done. Black Screen. EA needs to fix it. (EA go buy a 4k tv and test your game. Dolby vision doesn't work)

@DukeinatorI am currently having the same issue with the latest game ready drivers.9900ks2080 TiLG C9EDIT: I found a temporary fix on my own.1. Disable deep color mode on the TV2. Locate file PROFILEOPTIONS_profile in C:\Users\YOUR-NAME\Documents\Need for Speed Heat\settings3. Open the file and change GstRender.HDRMode 1 to 0

I just bought Origin Premiere for this game, Madden 20, and Fallen Order, so pretty darn good deal. I have an LG C6 OLED and of course have the same issues. With 4:2:2 and 10-bit it didn't force me into DV but had inverted colors or something. I could go into the game settings and turn HDR off. Switching to "Default color settings" in Nvidia control panel started the game in DV, black screen with no way to fix but hard reset.
A similar issue with HDR happened at launch of Madden 19. Do EA's teams never talk to each other?

@Conklin66 the issue is dv working in rgb output limited or default in every game supported. The problem is DV breaks when quiting to desktop cause DV mode doesnt disengage and desktop doesnt support DV. So the game should be giving signal that turn of hdr automaticly on shutdown and we prob should be fixed.

I have LG B8 oled and I have to change to 1080P 120Hz 4:2:2 in nvidia settings to disable dolby vision forced by NFS heat! Cannot play this game in HDR whatsoever! Im very disappointed with EA!

Just do what KrystaGG said. I installed 436.48 Nvidia driver, and can play with DV enabled, (ALT-TAB) still gives black screen but game is working with DV.

Nah, this was a giant waste of time. I could start the game and even engage HDR auto(Dolby Vision) inside the menu but once I try to leave that screen I'm right back into a black abyss. Busted game needs a fix, I'm going back to the newest driver.

I found that if I set the game to borderless mode it's much better. Not perfect, but at least the white point 'n all that isn't blown out.

Tested new nvidia driver 441.20 + Windows 10 1909, same issue, game is working "perfectly" in Dolby Vision mode but there's still the black screen when alt-tab or leaving the game, only solution is to restart the computer.
EA, are you working on a FIX ? (have you reach NVIDIA ? :/ )
Maybe put on option in game to toggle on HDR or Dolby Vision like you did on Mass Effect Andromeda ?

Actually TVs That's coming dolby vision can't turn off manually is automatically on in need for speed heat is chosen automatic is dolby vision we need to choose HDR10 TO FIX THIS ISSUE, for information my tv is sony x900f
