how do i start a new career in need for speed as ive just purchased the game and its taking my progress from the beta/demo?.

Go to Settings then press Reset Your Journey. If you are driving, restart the game then (don't press Play yet) go to Settings.
@rRapidFiree Where is the reset journey on the ps4 version as I am having trouble finding it
