How does the point system on this game work?

Does anyone have any idea how the points are awarded on this game in multiplayer? I've been playing for a month now(with all the issues the game has). And by far the most annoying thing is losing eve...

I pretty much know how scoring works.
100p for a Takedown
150(?)p for Top Scorer Takedown
200p for being first to Meet-Up
100(200?) for being first to score during Challenge/Speedtests
X x 50p for spotted enemy Takedown, be it you or anyone on your team
For event positions, score goes down from 1st position, usually 2nd gets 500p less, 3rd 200p less than 2nd etc
For 12 players present, 1st place gets 4000p. For 11 players, it's 3500p. Basically, the less players there are, the smaller the winning wages are. I think it goes down to 2000p for 1st with 2 players, but I'm not sure atm.
Of course, aforementioned x2 breaks it all 🙂
Sometime players carry over their score from the previous speedlist, that's why they start with ~12k points. I'm not sure what might be the reason behind this. I blame client-host communication.

I don't find it as much annoying (or gamebreaking) , as It makes me wonder how scoring really works ( or is it flawed?)

It was discussed few times before ,but none really has a clue about It [ except for basic scoring ] :D

There are many threads about that and the main reason is always that there are mostly players that still have the 2x points from the first 4 hours of online playing from the limited edition bonus. You get this again for buying new DLCs like the Ultimate Speed Pack.

As soon as there is no other player that has the 2x scoring it looks more reasonable and you will stay mostly 1st when you win the majority.

I'm also waiting for the 2x dying out...

But btw agreed that otherwise the detail scoring is rather confusing but overall that doesn't make any great difference because for takedowns and spotting you earn only 100 resp. 50 points which is much less that you get with a win (about 1500 to 5000).

The only thing I didn't really figured out yet is why you get sometimes 10'000 and then lead the scoreboard from the beginning - I guess this comes from milestones but not all milestones count. My best guess is that the car color milestones count for takedowns and jumping but the driving milestones (for miles and unlocking mods) don't count.
