How Many Will be Getting This Game Now?
So, since the news has been brought up about no free roam police chases, how many will be canceling their pre orders and (for the ones who havnt pre ordered) how many will not be getting the game now?...

@kartov93 I never said it was going to be the worse NFS to come out. This game was marketed as being a game that was huge with the cops meaning police chases. They were marketing the cops through their news feed.

Do not market police chases being a huge deal if they are not going to play a roll in the game free roam wise. It is stupid to only have police chases during a scripted event. Having police in free roam was what made games such as Carbon and Most Wanted fun. This is not a childish reason to not buy a game. Not buying a game because Toyota or a certain model of car in a game is childish reason. The cops playing a roll in a game is all part of the game play which then makes the game fun or dull. Not having police chases in free roam will make the game feel dead and unrealistic (trust me, its a game and I am not for 100% realism). This is a Need for Speed game for crying out loud.
I kind of like that they have bait crates. It got annoying in Most Wanted 05 when I wanted to show the world off to friends and I couldn't because I'd get into another cop chase. And anyways, we all know that the worst NFS was The Run 🙂
@NathanLoiselle The Run was not that great. The police chases were fun and rewarding in Most Wanted 2005. I dont mind the bait crates. What I do mind is that the only way to get into a chase is through the crates or story missions.
Well im sure many will hate me but oh well il be fine with that i guess lol. IMHO raising a fuss over the fact that there is no cops sitting around is a bit much. I mean from what i take from the info and others have said is if you want a cop chase just hit a crate. So why is this such a big deal ? the game is giving you a super easy hardly any effort way to trigger the chase. Then every thing they showed us in regards to the cops comes up and you are in a chase accroding to what i have read. Its not like there is none at all its just they have left it out for those who don't want it and for those who do they just have to hit a crate. Its NFS so its not like you are not going to run into something sooner or later anyways lol, so hit the crate and bingo you have your cops. Its kind of like being mad because a bag of chips doesn't come pre-opened for you. 😃
- The crate is a timed event. Its like a timed sprint race. Im sorry but, I dont want my only way of being in a chase is by hitting a crate that has a timed event on it. Its a bad idea over all considering what they are marketing for this game.
Hey i respect your views my friend and can see where you are coming from as well. I guess the police deal isn't on the top of my list personally as other things i am seeing in game. Im so preoccupied with hoping they don't pull the " no parts available " or one part only for the cars that im over looking everything else. In the end i hope the game manages to bring something to the table for every one. This is why i don't preorder, i always wait to see what the game becomes then decide if i will buy it. Damn it, this don't is a problem for me.
That's waht is worrying me more too, i didn't played 2015 unfortunatelly (my old machine don't allows me XD) but i know the lack of customizations in there was a problem.
Thye'r also using the customization as a selling point of this game, but after se this Cop Pursuits insue, i'm very apprehensive

I do think that cops should be free-roaming the streets but i do like the fact that no one is ever going to be after me in free roam.
i would like to see widebody kits for all cars including exotics and the ablity to switch out fenders, bumpers and spoilers
