How to enable manual transmission in NFS 2015?

I'm not seeing any setting for this option under game or controller settings, where the hell is it hiding?

    on PC you can only change to manual in the handling setup (scroll to the bottom), and you have to do it for each car, due to that cars where you can't change the handling setup will stay automatic
