How to hold (R) and (R) to start a race?

Question

My brother changes controls so throttle would is (R)-up instead of R2 and brake by (R)-down instead of L2.

Now in order to start a race, the game instructs to hold (R) and (R) (instead of L2 and R2).

Obviously you can not hold the (R) stick both up and down simultaneously so you can not start a race with this config.

Is this a bug or a feature? ;-)

You can't &gt; to start a race you need to push&nbsp; "gas+brake" so if you configure both to right analogue stick it won't go :D&nbsp; Reconfigure controls and After you done race for the first time you can jump to it directly from autolog menu (skipping "r+r")

Yeah, we already did use that workaround, but it feels stupid that EA has not foreseen this and e.g. allow R3 to be held for that config.

I would assume that still many people (want to) use the right analogue stick for gas + brake instead of L2/R2.
