how to start a new game in need for speed

I want to start a new game in need for speed on my ps4, I did chat with one that say, just make a need account and play from that account, then the game will start on new, but cant play from that other account, and I want to start a new game, why ? well my my friend did start play like 5 min inn the game, so I did not get the story of the game at the start, and I want it, so how do I fix this ? and he did not take the start car I wanted.
