@BLVD69 Since we know Coreless Criterion is Ghost and new Criterion.Never have hope in them judging by past 4 games(Rivals ported to FB engine and buggy AF)All we know about this dev is they are hiring(still for 4 month!)
About the Remaster HP2010-It will have no P2W content or Suprise stuff(EA words) like Paradise HD.But I still doubt it will be polished judging by how rubbish Paradise HD is(Buggy and save-corruption or so)But to get DLC on PC(No PC DLC was Classic Criterion problem) is the main reason I'd love to see a full Remaster HP2010(Cannonball Countach and HP1 Diablo return,and they matter)But yes EA will overpriced the whole thing like Paradise HD which make everything pointless.So pirate the game is a better choice if it does return.
What NFS should be (and wont be) in next gen is a flaw/bug less game with focus of DRIVING a car not CUSTOMING a car.There are specific custom app like 3DTuning focus on custom better than a RACING game.NFS has been chasing a GONE TREND for too long.With Criterion as their last choice(no replacement dev)Next Gen console could see the demise of the series.

I would like to say you're theory about NFS coming to the end of its self is in the cards.
What I mean is the classic NFS we all grew up with will most likely never return and that's very sad indeed!
As a long time gamer since the 1970's I have seen so many cool games and
systems come and go and it's a sad parting when a Legacy high-end game fades away into history.
I do realize things come and go throughout time, however making changes take time for me, LOL
On other comments, if what your saying is true that all we're getting is a remaster and
no new stuff then I won't even bother wasting a dime on that.
Go figure it's sad how EA pawns its consumer base with gimmick release.
This pattern of behavior seems to be EA's Mode of Operation.
Also, not sure if you saw the new PS5 console I read the suggested price is about $500 a bit steep for me.
I'd rather just buy a quality Gaming PC and skip the console for Next Gen games.

- @BLVD69 I also only play PC games.But since Fake Criterioin keep bluffing about next gen quality,I just make an example with that.Yes the HD wont worth the overprice,hence why pirate the game on PC is the best choice.
I just wish they can did another Cannonball game before the certain demise we all see in the future(next gen as Fake Criterion words)It's been 10 years since HP2010 AKA the last polished Cannonball game.So it's a good thing they will remaster the game maybe as the end of Cannonball NFS.
But still we dont need to have faith in future NFS because there may be no future at all in this gone trend next gen EA tradition. - @Sjonny30 All Ghost games made it clear-NFS isn't fun anymore.Chav's age is over.Even with better content Fake Criterion will still be doomed to fail since they are still chasing the wrong style and keep being smug about it.HP2010 is the first NFS to be remastered in 25 years of history because EA knows NFS is dying faster than ever with chav style(Also no Toyota/Lexus license prohibition).HP style may lure some classic era fan back,but with the poor skill of Stellar showed in Paradise HD,all they will do is ruining the iconic game years after Criterion fell apart.
Next, NFS game fans will buy it and be disappointed and
be bored once they realize its just another game gimmick for EA to turn more profit.
The whole NFS Experience has been lackluster for some years now and these threads prove that point!
I don't really believe Ea has learned to hear it's consumer base or took us seriously enough to make changes for the future.
So I would encourage paying consumers to avoid supporting EA until they create a high-end NFS Racing game.
Toyota is not something that would draw me back even though I do like the car manufacture in NFS World online game.

- @BLVD69 Toyota isn't very of my taste too.But Toyota(or the lack of it) is the main reason HP2010 gets remastered this year.I already confirmed HP2010 HD will be the LAST NFS I ever buy.Even though I'm sure it will be buggy.HP2010 brought me back to NFS after 2003 UG1 turned me away,ironically it will also be the game brought me away from NFS for the last time.HP style wont return judging by the continous and still continuing trend of chav.If they have Toyota/Ferrari/Lexus license they may remaster EA Canada games or Blackbox junks.I wont suggest anyone without the need for a Cannonball game to get HP2010 HD,neither anyone with the need for a polished racing game.I only buy it for the loss of Real Criterion.At least this time we can(even though buggy) feel the REAL NFS Fully.Sadly for the last time.
