I am unable to get Need for Speed the Run to start in Windows 10

I recently reinstalled the game after upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (both 64-bit). The game played fine under Win7, but won 't start under Win10. I tried Windows 7 and Windows 8 compatibility mode, with no success.

    Issue seems to have resolved itself. Game is now playing, currently in Windows 8 compatibility mode. Will try removing this next time I play it.
