I dont get it ??? please explain.

Ok it may be a stupid question but what ever, i am asking anyways cause i do not understand. I posted else were but i want to make this its own post for more views and hopefully a explanation..

Can anyone explain to me why when we win a race we see 2 total winnings amount ?. Here is what i see....first screen after the race win it shows you 8000 bank ( see attached screen shots below) then you see your rep points tally up then third screen shows total rep and bank you won.This time it shows 5000 bank. So i took my bank amount before the race numerous times then subtracted the new total after race win and it always comes to 8000 difference. So what is the 5000 bank showing for as we are not getting it. If i was then i would show a bank difference of 13000 not 8000. Anyone care to clarify ??
