Yeah the try hard is the best part. I have Trials Fusion completed. It took me about 20 hours to get the time trial just right for one of the tracks on the last DLC. A track that takes less than 1 minute to complete. Why I trained so long? Why I never complained about it? Why it felt good to do it?
First of all because Trials is a HARD game. It has always been hard, I was aware it was gonna be a hard game start to finish and I jumped in knowing that.
Why did I jump in? Because the game is DAMN GOOD! I never failed because of the game. Every one of my thousands of failed attempts were because I was making mistakes. No randomness is involved, just practice. The game works flawlessly. I can retry with a single button push when I make a mistake and I know the fault is on me and that I have to practice that part in order to pass it the way I need to pass for the medal.
Now, we are talking about Need for Speed. A game that could be called fun at most when it was casual, because as a casual game you don't have to retry races all the time, you don't have to be perfect on your run, so you don't get to see many flaws or broken mechanics. Now, after this update it's what? A mediocre game? A poorly done game? A broken game?
When even the people that complete the challenge you make in a game says it's a bad thing, not fun at all and should be removed, there's something REALLY wrong with you if you continue to say otherwise...
It's like writing a book and submitting it to your editor. And the guy says: "It's a good book, you can sell it, but take out this one part that makes everyone realize your main plot is seriously flawed." And the writer refuses to take it from the book. And it gets printed anyway, and people read it and say: "man, that part is horrible! Why is it in the book? It would be SO MUCH BETTER if it wasn't!" And you still refuse to take it out on a reprint because you like it, and it's your work and artistic expression and all that *. Ok, it's your work and you have the right to be stubborn and do as you please. It does not make it the right choice. It continues to be the obviously wrong choice to everyone around, except you.
In short, you'll die knowing that it was wrong and you did not fix it because you didn't want to cave in and that is the truth behind it. The "we wanna leave it for now because of the die hard fans" excuse is destroyed the minute people that completed it still say it's **** and should be removed.
I go back to my Watch Dogs example again. I completed the drinking game and a friend could not. When he talked to me about it I said to him: "yeah, it's ****. It shouldn't be that hard, it's not fun at all and I only kept trying because it was my last 10g to complete the game." Some time later he told me it was patched to make it easier and he completed it. My answer was "good, now it's a much more consistent game, that part was really off". We both ended up happy with the game and we both will pick up Watch Dogs 2. Now, with Need for Speed, people that don't wanna even try to complete it because it's not fun anymore won't pick up the next one and people that completed it are also unhappy and will think twice about picking up the next one either. You are not making ANYONE happy, but you insist it's the way it should be.
Another good example. The new Agatha Christie game. It was patched (I don't even know what they fixed) but this patch broke one of the achievements. I went to the dev team facebook page and asked if they were aware of it, if they had plans to fix it and that I would only pick their game up if it was fixed because I didn't think it was right to buy a broken product. They answered me a few days later stating that they were aware and the fix was being made. Go and look at my played games to see if Agatha Christie is not there. Of course I picked it up to reward the care they had with us consumers by fixing the issue! That's all we can do in the end, chose who to support and who to ignore by using our wallets wisely.
All I can say is, I'll be back on the message boards for the next Need for Speed game, reminding everyone up there how the team ignored the problem and made the game not fun on purpose. Maybe when 10 or 20 threads pop up there reminding everyone about this DLC weeks before the release of the new game you'll think it's a good idea to fix it...
Guys maybe You help me. What I did wrong? Because I don't know, but I supposed that this is my fault because this behaviour is normal. Is nothing strange with this. I normally too drive and do this in street.

Ok be serious. This is prove how game work. Can record how clock works. Because i did this run perfectly and got time 1:42:27 (gold time is 1:43:00) and my time after crossed line was 1:43:31. Can record if someone don't believe me. This is one of thousand examples how this game work. Tell me where is skill in this game? Please tell me because i trying very hard few hours everyday and can't do this event who should be end 1 hour earlier. I know where I do mistake and know where game specially cheat me. Really try hard and those situation make frustration players who try do this. This is technical problem how this problem want fix? Because we told about challenge so I would like know what those situation have anything common with skill. This is not funny. This post haven't target blame game, bugs etc but show that is problem with this and game still have a lot bugs. Car appeared from nowhere and only target was stopping me even when he has take half street.
