I just wanted to thank you for your post. The "sanity check" worked. Your insight and summation of this failure of content really helped to alleviate the anxiety I have over the prestige mode. I really REALLY like this game, and as such I was really hoping to have the full roster of trophies available. I have put a regrettably large amount of time and stress into getting gold on about 13 or 14 of the events, but I hit a hurdle that I just cannot overcome.
I have to give up on this, for my own health. The obsessive completionist in me finds this very difficult, but just as you have stated, I beat the game and have every trophy prior to the update that brought prestige mode. I just wish there was a way to exclude the added trophies from the PSN lists. I have the platinum and the "Living Game" trophies, but that 96% just bugs me so much. I'll remain content with my achievements and casually try for the bronze times in my own favorite cars, but the top times no longer interest me. It is time that I actually enjoy the game on my own terms.
Same here. I tried to complete gold medals many times but it's extremely hard for me. And still no patch with fixed time requirements. Do we have any chances to see dev's reactions on it?

This is so hilariously badly balanced that Its almost funny... but sadly it is not. Why did i think buying an ea game was a good idea. If this doesn't get fixed I've learnt a hard lesson about the reality of just how bad EA are. Fixing this may take a small amount of time but i think in the sales that will be lost from future games if it isn't fixed its a worthwhile investment.... Even if you don't want to fix the times at least add a new uber ultimate car that owns these challenges as dlc so you make the cost of it back and we can actually do this without putting ourselves in an early grave.
