Is there any plans to increase the amount of cash earned for races. Reason being I have a bunch of cars that need upgrades but can't because it cost so much to upgrade. In some instances the parts cost between $67,000 to $110,000 depending on the rarity of the part. To upgrade is impossible especially when you only win between $1,000 to $2,000 per race. I think this really need to addressed especially if you want people to continue to be interested in playing.

You have to depend on Tuner Sunday, Tournaments, selling unneeded parts, etc. It's a real balancing act between making cash and spending cash. Most importantly is you have to be patient and plan how you want to best accomplish your short, intermediate, and long term goals.
For example, sometimes it is more important to me to use all my fuel to collect cash in easy races than to try to get BP's. Other times, it's just the opposite.

Yep, that's right. You have to either pay or wait :-)
With normal playing without spending gold, including tournaments (and tournament prizes) I was able to make roughly 250k per day, and of course a bit more on Sunday. You still have to plan your spendings, but eventually any upgrade is reachable.
I would want to earn a lot more In-Game Currency in races than what's given right now, but it probably won't happen.
In the meantime, play races that give a good amount of In-Game Currency. Like these ones:
1. Blockade races
2. Nitro Rush races
3. Airborne races
