Is this a sequel?

I remember a game called most wanted by the NFS franchise where there was this story bout racers and taking them down till ya got the main racer and there was this cop called cross that was like hunting youd down....anywho,is this new game supposed to be a sequel to that game or some wierd prequel or what? and was it released like way ahead of time cuz it really feels like its missing something, something more than just missing any story. its funny how there is an absolute lack of story,no explaining things or nothin...had they had a demo to play I probably woulda got forza horizon but I could only buy one since I am on disability and put my stock in the long history of the NFS franchise and especially the quality of the fiirst most wanted. Does anybody know if there is some sort of story mode I am missing in this version or is it really just about wandering around and beating faceless racers? Also,is there some sort of thing to got to,like a website or something that is a direct way of telling ea and criterion to make an actual NFS game rather than a burnout paradise clone? while the burnout games are ok,there is definately a different mood and style to nfs games that I think a lot of fans of the series expect. Does anybody know of what I am asking,or does anybody know somebody that works for the companies responsible for this new version of the game? any help out there?

  • Hi SpeedFreakJJ,

NFS Most Wanted is not a sequel, but a remake.

I am not happy there is no story and yes, this is a Burnout Paradise clone since it is made by the same company, Criterion. So basically , this game is Burnout Paradise: Most Wanted with Licensed cars

    Hey Speedfrakjj.

I feel that same thing that you do. The graphics, sound and music was good. Even try loosing the cops was better now than before. But there it all ends.

No hood or inboard camera. All of the map open and all the cars was ready at the start you just had to find them. Repetitive races to upgrade the cars. No story. And for gods sake take downs in NFS????That has nothing to do with NFS franchise and the type of racing they used to focus on.

I played it 4 hours this weekend and was thinking that this was the first time I have been bored to death with a NFS game. And now it is uninstalled not to be played again, ever.
